Job Responsibilities

• Create Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and design individualized therapy strategies to help them accomplish their functional objectives
• Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply proven therapeutic methods to enhance patients' motor abilities, cognitive skills, and daily life activities
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive and holistic care
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Provide guidance to patients and caregivers on therapy techniques to foster continual progress at home
• Monitor Patient Progress: Document clinical outcomes and modify treatment approaches as necessary, ensuring patients remain on their path to recovery

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
