Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PRN Nurse to join our team at The Green House Cottages of Wentworth Place. As a PRN Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents on an as-needed basis. You will collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the physical and emotional well-being of our residents while adhering to all nursing standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments of residents upon admission and as needed
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with facility policies
• Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report any changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisors
• Assist with activities of daily living
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and their families
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing assessments, care plans, and interventions
• Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment for residents and staff
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives as required

Qualifications:

• Valid RN or LPN license in the state of Arkansas or compact State
• Previous experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting preferred
• Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Basic computer skills for documentation purposes
• CPR certification preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move residents with assistance
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods
• Good visual and auditory acuity

Schedule:

This is a PRN (as needed) position. Shifts may vary based on facility needs, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
