Key Responsibilities

• Group Therapy: Facilitate engaging and supportive group sessions, using innovative techniques to reduce stigma and encourage sharing among clients. You will create an environment where participants can express themselves freely, fostering connection and mutual understanding.
• Individual Therapy: Conduct personalized therapy sessions aimed at helping clients explore their emotions, develop coping mechanisms, and set actionable goals. You will utilize evidence-based practices to tailor each session to the client’s unique needs.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to create comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that reflect their goals, strengths, and preferences. Regularly review and adjust these plans based on progress and feedback.
• Progress Monitoring: Assess client progress through various methodologies, including questionnaires and self-reports, to ensure that therapeutic goals are being met. Your evaluation efforts will guide future sessions and treatment adaptations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to coordinate care and share insights on complex cases. Regular communication and case consultations will ensure comprehensive support for each client.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be young adults facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. As a counselor, you will play a pivotal role in this demographic, providing a safe space for them to navigate their issues and gradually achieve recovery. By employing a strengths-based approach, you will help clients harness their potential and foster resilience.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in a relevant field such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is essential.
• Experience in mental health treatment, especially with clients who have mood disorders, is crucial for success in this role.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a team and contribute positively to our mission of inspiring change.
• Strong clinical skills, particularly in motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), along with proficiency in documentation and reporting.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in remote counseling or telehealth services.

• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and digital documentation tools to manage client information and therapy sessions effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The LPC position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000.
