Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health statuses through interviews and evidence-based diagnostic tools.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each client.
• Facilitate regular individual and group therapy sessions, equipping clients with coping strategies and therapeutic techniques to overcome their mental health challenges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Strictly adhere to professional ethics and maintain confidentiality in all client interactions.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document sessions, track progress, and manage patient care efficiently.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. Your expertise will enable you to understand and address the complexities of each client's situation, creating a culturally sensitive and empathetic therapeutic environment that fosters healing and resilience.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.
• A minimum of four years of related experience in mental health counseling.
• Proficiency in understanding mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and cultural competence.
• Demonstrated expertise in delivering both individual and group therapy sessions through inclusive approaches.
• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to remain composed in challenging situations.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities, fostering rapport with clients of varied backgrounds.
• Comfortable utilizing electronic health record systems and related technologies.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with teletherapy platforms and delivery of services in a remote setting.
• Background in specialized therapy areas, such as trauma-informed care or cognitive-behavioral therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
