Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement individualized therapy strategies tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify clients’ mental health needs and treatment goals.
• Provide evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to individuals, couples, and families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring comprehensive care coordination for optimal client outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and current clinical records, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, meetings, and training sessions focusing on the latest advancements in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse population ranging in age and presenting issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and substance use disorders. Our commitment to providing culturally competent care means that you will engage with clients from various backgrounds, tailoring interventions to meet their individual needs and preferences.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.
• At least two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting, with a history of successful client outcomes.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards surrounding client care in the therapy space.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the proven ability to establish rapport quickly with clients.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization or experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment.
• Familiarity with therapeutic methodologies and tools relevant to modern counseling practices.
• History of working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team dynamic.

Compensation and Benefits

Relajarse Therapeutic Services offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to USD 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
