Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to determine their needs and formulate effective treatment plans.
• Implementing individualized evidence-based therapeutic strategies utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Providing group, family, couple, and individual therapy sessions that promote healing and coping strategies for various mental health conditions.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records while complying with all ethical and legal standards.
• Actively participating in ongoing professional development and workshops to stay current with the latest mental health research and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals and families facing mental health challenges, trauma, and substance use issues. Your expertise will help clients from various backgrounds work through their obstacles and achieve healthier outcomes, ultimately enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Nevada.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, with a preference for clinical settings.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical guidelines regulating mental health counseling practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the establishment of rapport with a variety of clients.

Preferred Experience

While experience in general counseling is a minimum requirement, expertise in specific areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, and substance abuse counseling is highly preferred. Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and other digital health technologies is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and client caseload. Employees will also receive comprehensive benefits, including:
