Pharmacy Coordinator Job Locations US-TX-IRVING ID Line of Business Amerita Position Type Full-Time Our Company Amerita Overview The Pharmacy Coordinator will be responsible for the collection of clinical supporting documents needed to care for our patients, including, but not limited to: laboratory results, signed written orders, assignment of benefits, and ongoing clinical documentation. The Pharmacy Coordinator answers incoming phone calls and directs calls to the appropriate person. This role is responsible for greeting all visitors, directing visitors to the appropriate person or location and assisting with miscellaneous clerical duties. Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work with all levels of management and staff, vast knowledge of pharmacy terminology and process. Ability to multitask in a demanding environment. Excellent organizational skills and mindfulness. Working Conditions Occasional weekend, evening or night work if needed to ensure shift coverage **To perform this role will require constant sitting, and typing on a keyboard with fingers, and occaasionally standing, and walking.
