Direct Sales Representative

Secure new recurring revenue from residential prospects Secure new incremental revenue from existing customers through proactive communication and in-person visits Conduct quality face-to-face in-home sales presentations to new Sparklight customers Identify customer needs, wants, and desires and match them with company products Diplomatically handle interactions with potential customers Reconcile daily sales orders with install reports and maintain sales-order documentation Attend in-person sales meetings and management-directed training sessions Achieve established sales goals and quotas Work independently to promote Sparklight residential products and services Manage a monthly portfolio of prospects and optimize time and routes for face-to-face interactions Perform other related duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma or equivalent A minimum of one year of proven sales experience; or 2 years of college; or equivalent combination of sales experience and college education Stable work history Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation/vehicle where applicable and automobile insurance as required by Sparklight Must be able to maintain proper appearance/attitude to represent Sparklight in the community Must have basic mathematical and computer skills Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions, walk for extensive periods of time, and lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to work evening and weekend requirements Proficient time management skills and ability to prioritize Must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills Job offers are contingent upon successfully passing background, drug screening, and reference checks Core Competencies Demonstrates strong sales capabilities through effective face-to-face presentations and proactive customer engagement.
