A well-established company within the HVAC distribution industry is seeking an experienced Retail Branch Manager to lead one of its Florida branch locations. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of branch performance, including sales growth, profitability, inventory management, customer relationships, and team leadership.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC distribution and a proven ability to drive operational excellence while developing a high-performing team.

Only candidates with previous HVAC industry experience will be considered for this opportunity.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8AM-5PM

Payment and Benefits

● Base salary range: $70,000 - $75,000 annually (based on experience)

Responsibilities

● Assume full responsibility for overall branch operations and financial performance.

● Drive monthly and annual sales goals while maintaining profitability targets.

● Monitor key performance indicators, including sales results, margins, and inventory turnover.

● Oversee daily counter sales operations and ensure excellent customer service.

● Develop existing customer relationships while identifying and securing new business opportunities.

● Maintain pricing discipline and protect gross margins.

● Promote the sale of additional products, equipment, and accessories.

● Manage inventory levels using effective replenishment and stock control strategies.

● Minimize stock shortages and reduce excess or aging inventory.

● Oversee warehouse operations, order processing, and logistics activities.

● Ensure accurate inventory counts through cycle counts and inventory audits.

● Supervise, mentor, and develop counter sales staff, warehouse personnel, and drivers.

● Establish clear performance expectations and maintain accountability within the team.

● Foster a customer-focused and results-oriented work environment.

● Resolve customer concerns and maintain strong relationships with contractors and business clients.

● Deliver timely, accurate, and professional service to all customers.

Requirements

● Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC distribution, wholesale, or a related industry.

● At least 3 years of management or supervisory experience.

● Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, products, and industry practices.

● Experience with inventory management and operational processes.

● Proven leadership and team development skills.

● Strong customer relationship management abilities.

● Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

● Experience using ERP systems such as Sage 300 or similar platforms.

● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is highly preferred.
