Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an Ultrasonic Technology program, or on-the-job training with a registered sonographer (preferred)
• At least one year of ultrasound experience in a hospital, clinic, or physician’s office (preferred)
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) required at start
• RDMS in OB/GYN within one year of hire/transfer
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), renewed every two years
• Proficiency with ultrasound equipment, protocols, and safety standards
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and office procedures
• Effective communicator with the ability to follow detailed instructions
• Capable of troubleshooting and minor equipment adjustment

Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing medical conditions
• Safely conduct and communicate sonograms
• Recognize and differentiate normal and pathological features
• Follow established protocols and safety guidelines
• Maintain clear patient records and assist with imaging documentation

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
