Build Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineering (AI Capability Center)

Role Description

As a member of the Huron corporate team, you’ll help to evolve our business model to stay ahead of market forces, industry trends and client needs. This person builds the solution and works with the business day to day inside a pod. The Solution Architect owns the design and the Engagement Manager owns the schedule, so this seat is focused on building well.

• Build the features.
• Full-stack on AWS and Azure using Claude and other models.
• Work with users.
• Sit with the business day to day and build with them.
• Keep quality up.
• Tests and evaluations on everything that ships.
• Take design direction from the Solution Architect, and flag what the design misses.

Qualifications

• Some RAG and agent experience, plus exposure to Agentic DevOps tooling (agentic coding tools, eval-driven pipelines).
• Meets the FDE-ready floor (Embedding L3 with AI L3) at day 0.
• Front-end skills.
• Healthcare or higher education exposure.
• AWS AI Practitioner or Azure AI-900 / AI-102.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years building software or AI.
• Python, and AWS or Azure.
• A strong builder who is comfortable working with the business.
• Healthcare seats are onshore; the EDR and other seats are in India.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Benefits

• The estimated base salary for this job is $120,000 - $145,000 USD.
• Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $134,400 - $171,100 USD.
