Mechanical OperatorWe are seeking a Mechanical Operator to operate and support high-speed packaging, cutting, and press equipment in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for machine setup, changeovers, production monitoring, packaging, and maintaining safety and quality standards.ResponsibilitiesOperate packaging, cutting, and press equipment safely and efficientlyPerform machine setups, changeovers, and equipment resets for production runsMonitor production batches and troubleshoot or report issues as neededPackage, label, and document finished products accuratelyAssist with routine mechanical tasks, including equipment disassembly and reassemblyPerform basic maintenance, cleaning, and sanitation of production equipmentMaintain GMP compliance and follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagoutKeep work areas clean, organized, and production-readyTrain and support new operators as neededEssential SkillsPrevious machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment; GMP experience preferredExperience with high-speed packaging equipment, filling, capping, labeling, cutting, or press machineryStrong mechanical aptitude with machine setup and changeover experienceAbility to follow production procedures, safety standards, and quality requirementsAttention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe, clean work environmentWhy Work Here?You will join a smaller, close-knit manufacturing team where your contributions are visible and valued. You will primarily work on your feet throughout the shift while operating and monitoring packaging, cutting, and pressing equipment, as well as related systems such as heat exchangers and vacuum pumps. The work involves handling raw materials and chemicals in a regulated GMP setting, following strict safety procedures including lock-out/tag-out.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of MEMPHIS, TN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.13 - $19.13/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
