Event Assistant

As an Event Assistant, you will be an integral part of our event management team. You will provide support to ensure the successful planning, coordination, and execution of a wide range of events, from corporate meetings and conferences to weddings and social gatherings. Your enthusiasm, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be key to your success in this role. Key Responsibilities Assist with Event Planning: Collaborate with the Event Manager/Coordinator to plan and organize events. This includes researching venues, suppliers, and vendors, as well as creating event timelines and budgets. Vendor Coordination: Communicate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to secure necessary resources for events. Negotiate contracts and ensure all details are documented accurately. Logistics Support: Assist in the logistical aspects of events, such as setting up and tearing down event spaces, arranging seating, and ensuring all equipment and materials are in place. Marketing and Promotion: Contribute to the marketing and promotion of events, including creating and distributing promotional materials, managing social media accounts, and updating event websites. Administrative Tasks: Handle various administrative tasks, including filing paperwork, maintaining event records, and managing RSVP lists. Problem-Solving: Be prepared to handle unexpected challenges that may arise during events and find creative solutions to ensure smooth execution. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
