About the job Tax Manager


Our client is seeking a Tax Manager to join their rapidly expanding Tax practice in Atlanta, offering a unique professional growth and development opportunity.

Responsibilities:

Tax Managers are responsible for (but not limited to):
• Reviewing tax returns of varying complexities.
• Delegating tax preparation and research to staff (as appropriate)
• Preparing complex business income tax returns.
• Tax consulting and projections
• Assuming client service responsibility
• Developing staff members.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting required; master's degree in taxation preferred.
• Current CPA license required.
• 4 -7 years experience preparing corporate, partnership, and individual income tax returns in a public accounting firm.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience supervising and directing the work of tax preparers
• Exceptional Excel skills
• Proficiency with tax automation/workflow software is a plus
• Consultative approach and client service-oriented
• Exceptional and proactive communicator (verbal & written)
• Self-Directed, Autonomous, Ambitious
