Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

The CNC Machinist sets up and operates CNC milling equipment, performs general program editing at the machine, and ensures that all parts meet precise quality standards. This role uses blueprints and work orders to select tooling, set up machines, run first articles, and complete production runs while maintaining consistent, accurate inspections throughout the process.

Essential Skills

• Hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC mills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders accurately.
• Proficiency with G-code program editing at the machine.
• Experience working with Haas CNC mills and controls.
• Experience operating CNC lathes.
• Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, including tooling selection and workholding.
• Ability to perform first article and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls.
• Ability to maintain consistent quality while running production jobs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in an ISO9001-2015 certified machine shop environment.
• Using Haas UMC 5-axis, Haas VF series, and Haas tool room mills.
• Experience with CNC lathes equipped with live tooling.
• Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting machining and quality issues.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, accurate parts.

This is a Permanent position based out of York, PA.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
