Join Northeast Family Services (NFS), a growing behavioral health organization committed to providing high-quality care while supporting the clinicians who make that care possible.Northeast Family Services is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing New York team on a Fee-for-Service basis.About the Role:The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide psychiatric assessment and treatment services to assigned patients across the lifespan. Responsibilities include evaluating patient needs, making medication recommendations, recommending changes to treatment plans when patients are not progressing as expected, and consulting on referrals for additional or specialty mental health services when appropriate.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced provider looking to supplement their current practice with a flexible schedule of approximately 5–10 hours per month.Please note: This position requires in-office coverage at our Bronx and/or New Rochelle locations.QualificationsBoard certification and appropriate credentials as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC or equivalent)Active and unrestricted APRN license in the State of New YorkCurrent and valid DEA registration requiredGraduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner programRelevant psychiatric/behavioral health clinical experienceAvailability to work on-site in our Bronx or New Rochelle NY officesExperience working with children and adolescents as well as adults preferredBilingual English/Spanish skills are a plusCompensation & Schedule:$80.00–$125.00 per hourCompetitive Fee-for-Service ratesFlexible schedulingApproximately 5–10 hours of coverage per monthIf you're an experienced psychiatric provider looking for a flexible opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working with a growing behavioral health organization, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today and join the Northeast Family Services team!
