INSURANCE DEFENSE ATTORNEY

Job Describtion:

Insurance defense litigation including first and third-party claims
New Jersey automobile accident defense and coverage disputes
Personal injury defense
Coverage opinions and pre-litigation evaluations
Depositions, hearings, and court appearances in New Jersey state and federal courts
Motion practice including summary judgment and dispositive motions
Direct representation of insurance companies and self-insured clients
Independently manage a full insurance defense caseload
Investigate and defend first and third-party insurance claims
Handle NJ automobile accident cases from pre-litigation through trial
Draft dispositive motions, coverage opinions, and legal memoranda
Take and defend depositions
Attend court hearings and mediations in New Jersey
Provide pre-litigation evaluations and strategic recommendations to clients
Conduct examinations under oath

Required Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
Active New Jersey Bar license MANDATORY, no exceptions
3 10 years of insurance defense litigation experience required
New Jersey automobile accident defense experience required this is non-negotiable
Strong motion drafting and courtroom skills
Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently
Must be local to or able to commute to North Jersey no relocation assistance
