Occupational Therapist OT - PRN, Per Diem

Williston Care Center, Williston, FL

Williston Care Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Per Diem Occupational Therapist to join our In-House Subacute Rehab team. As a member of our multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, you will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a strong commitment to improving the functional independence of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations to assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving patients’ daily living skills, mobility, and overall independence.

• Provide therapeutic interventions including activities to improve motor skills, strength, and coordination.

• Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care plans.

• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary to meet patient goals.

• Educate patients and their families on techniques and strategies to improve function and independence.

• Document therapy services provided, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.

• Qualifications:

  Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Florida (or eligibility).

• Experience in a subacute, rehab, or long-term care setting is preferred.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
