What We Are Looking For We are seeking an AV Service Specialist for our Piscataway, NJ branch. The ideal candidate has an attitude, skills, and work ethic that embody our mission: “to provide a fantastic customer experience.” You will be the calm, clever fixer who gets everyone back on track when audio or video shows an unexpected personality. Responsibilities Respond to customer service calls for installed AV systems in various locations (overnight travel is required, accommodations are provided by CTI). Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with: Displays, projection, and video walls, etc. Audio systems (DSPs, microphones, speakers, etc.) Video conferencing platforms (Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, room PCs, etc.) Control systems (Crestron, Extron, etc.) Resolve hardware, software, and configuration issues. Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure all systems operate at optimum levels. Work with programmers as needed to load updated files. Provide customer‑facing support. Maintain documentation and ticketing records. Complete other assigned tasks. Will You Fit In? Embrace the company culture—punching in each day is not enough. Work independently with minimal guidance, and ask the right questions when help is needed. Have strong verbal and written communication skills and serve as the face of our company to clients. Does Experience Count? AV/IT Networking: At least four years of experience with commercial AV integration installations, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting. Education: An associate’s degree is preferred but not required. Experience and skills are weighed heavily. Customer Service Experience: A must—our customers are #1. Attitude and Aptitude: Eager to learn and ready to tackle any situation. What’s In It for You? Salary $65,000/yr – $95,000/yr (DOE).
