Position Overview

• The Pharmacy Technician I Ambulatory Retail supports daily pharmacy operations within a high-volume outpatient pharmacy environment. This evening-shift role is ideal for candidates who enjoy a structured schedule, patient interaction, and being part of a team that directly impacts patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, dispensing, and inventory management
• Accurately process prescriptions and patient information using pharmacy systems
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and clinical staff
• Receive, unpack, and organize medication deliveries and supplies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy work environment
• Adhere to all Penn Medicine, state, and federal pharmacy regulations

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Pharmacy Technician Certification - CPhT (Required)
• Registered Pharmacy Technician (PA State Board of Pharmacy (Required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a retail or ambulatory pharmacy setting
• Experience working in a high-volume pharmacy environment
