Supplier Quality Engineering Coop

Johnson & Johnson seeks a co-op student to support the Supplier Quality team in a regulated medical device environment. The role involves monitoring supplier performance, analyzing quality data, documenting investigations, and participating in continuous improvement projects under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

• Support supplier quality projects by collecting, organizing, and analyzing quality data including nonconformance and performance metrics
• Create and maintain supplier scorecards, trend charts, and status reports using Excel and other approved systems
• Assist with supplier qualification records, specifications, inspection plans, and validation documentation
• Support nonconformance investigations by gathering evidence, documenting findings, and tracking corrective actions
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Procurement teams on assigned work and process improvement activities

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, data science, quality, manufacturing, or related technical field
• Available for full co-op assignment period with defined work schedule
• Basic understanding of engineering, manufacturing, statistics, or quality principles
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and clear written and verbal communication
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
