Job Summary

As a Sales Representative, you will prospect, qualify, and close new business for [agency services]. You’ll manage the full sales cycle—from initial outreach to needs discovery, proposal presentation, negotiation, and onboarding coordination—while maintaining strong relationships with potential and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up
• Conduct discovery calls/meetings to understand client needs, goals, and decision criteria
• Present tailored solutions and proposals that align with client objectives
• Manage the sales pipeline in [CRM] and keep activity and status updated
• Qualify leads using agreed criteria and ensure proper routing/escalation when needed
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., delivery, marketing, customer success) to ensure smooth handoffs
• Present pricing while also educating and showing value
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and responsiveness with prospects and clients
• Participate in sales training, coaching, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 0-1+ years of sales experience (agency, SaaS, staffing, advertising, or professional services preferred)
• Proven ability to prospect and close deals (experience with full-cycle sales is a plus)
• Strong communication skills—comfortable presenting and negotiating with decision-makers
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and disciplined in managing a sales pipeline
• Proficient with CRM systems and sales tools (HubSpot/Salesforce preferred)
• Ability to handle rejection and persist through a structured sales process
• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience selling Property, casualty and life insurance.
• Familiarity with consultative selling and/or value-based selling

• Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly targets for:
  • Qualified leads and/or meetings booked
