When you join our team, you can expect:Health and prescription coverage with lower-than-average deductibles and copaysDental and vision benefitsFree short- and long-term disability coverageEmployer-paid Life and AD&D Insurance for full-time employees (optional supplemental life insurance)401(k) program with employer matching up to 6%Generous vacation, sick, and holiday pay with an option to "cash out" unused vacation hoursMTA discounted bus passesTeladoc - Free 24-hour access to a physicianEmployee Assistance Program with a variety of free servicesEmployee Recognition ProgramFree access to our Employee Wellness Program, such as Zumba and PilatesWhat will I do as an RN with Keswick?Perform nursing care according to established nursing standards and individualizes care based on the care plan and physician orders.Function as shift Charge Nurse as assigned and oversee care delivery and completion of nursing tasks by RNs, LPNs and GNAs.Performs resident/patient assessments upon admission and per unit standards.Ensure patient safety, comfort and regulatory compliance by performing clinical rounds.Maintain resident/patient clinical records according to established policies and procedures; make corrections and additions to medical records following facility standards and procedures.Transcribe physicians' orders to resident/patient charts, medication records etc. as required.Administer medications and treatments according to regulations and established procedures.Receive report from off-going shift and gives report to oncoming shift during walking rounds.Complete required documentation related to the patient admission, transfer, and discharge processes and ensures that all steps have been completed.What is required in this position?Graduation from an accredited RN Nursing program: Registered Nurse curriculum is required; Bachelors degree in Nursing preferred.Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure without disciplinary infractions by Maryland Board of Nursing.Current BLS certification required.At least 1 year of prior continual experience with the same long-term care facility is required. 2 or more years of service are preferred.IV insertion skills preferred.One year of recent Medical-Surgical experience is required for assignment to Baker Rehab, and is desirable for all other assignments.What makes Keswick unique?Our vision is for greater fulfillment and freedom of choice in aging, for all.
