Rooster Healthcare Staffing is looking for a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at a small, welcoming facility in Columbia, NJ.

This is a great opportunity for a CNA seeking a stable 1-year contract, first-shift schedule, and a supportive, family-oriented work environment . You’ll have the opportunity to provide quality resident care while working with a caring and close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities

As a CNA, you will:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Provide compassionate and respectful care to residents

• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning

• Monitor residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff

• Assist with meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents

• Answer call lights and respond to residents’ needs

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the healthcare team

• Follow facility policies and procedures

• Promote resident dignity, safety, and independence

• Work collaboratively with nurses and other members of the care team

Qualifications & Skills

• Active New Jersey CNA Certification

• Reliable and professional

• Compassionate approach to resident care

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team

• Commitment to providing high-quality resident care
