Senior Access Control Service Technician - DC Metro / Chantilly / Baltimore / Fredericksburg
KCI Telecommunications is hiring a Senior Access Control Service Technician for a contract-to-hire role covering the DC Metro, Chantilly, Baltimore, and Fredericksburg markets. This is a solo service role - you'll be the one getting to site, assessing the issue, and fixing it, so we need someone who can hit the ground running from day one.

KCI Telecommunications is hiring a Senior Access Control Service Technician for a contract-to-hire role covering the DC Metro, Chantilly, Baltimore, and Fredericksburg markets. This is a solo service role - you'll be the one getting to site, assessing the issue, and fixing it, so we need someone who can hit the ground running from day one.
What You'll Do
- Run service calls independently: get to site, assess, troubleshoot, and break/fix access control systems and equipment
- Handle full access control installation, service, and troubleshooting across multiple commercial sites per day
- Work primarily in access control/security, with the chance to pick up AV, Nurse Call, and Fire exposure over time
- Cover a territory spanning DC Metro, Chantilly, Baltimore, and Fredericksburg, VA
- Senior-level access control technician who can troubleshoot and repair independently
- Strong, hands-on experience diagnosing and fixing access control systems in commercial environments
- Comfortable running solo after a short 1-2 week shadow period
- Relevant certifications preferred but not required to start
- Company vehicle with gas card, cell phone, iPad, and tools provided
- Up to 2 certifications per year supported for continued education
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Immediate start
