Position Highlights
- Approximately 50/50 split between liver and kidney transplantation
- Living donor liver and kidney transplants
- No donor call
- Opportunities to develop other clinical niches based on experience and interest
- Monthly GI fellow and surgery resident rotations on the Liver Transplant Service
- Clinical FTE negotiable based on prior experience (e.g., grant funding)
- Faculty appointment with USF Health Morsani College of Medicine.

Training the Next Generation
We proudly offer an ASTS-accredited Abdominal Transplant Surgery Fellowship, providing comprehensive training in liver, kidney, and pancreas transplantation. With only one fellow accepted annually, the program ensures personalized mentorship and advanced surgical exposure—including robotic and laparoscopic techniques—working alongside our expert physicians and surgeons.
