Position: Dual-degree OMS Surgeon | Coastal NC

Start Date: ASAP

Compensation: $550,000 - $580,000

This is a unique opportunity for a dual-degree Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon specializing in facial trauma, reconstruction, head & neck/maxillofacial oncology, and microvascular surgery. The practice provides immediate surgical volume, robust support from Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), considerable autonomy, and avenues for research.

• Base salary up to $580,000, plus a $50,000 sign-on bonus and $10,000 for relocation.
• Two-year salary guarantee, transitioning to an RVU-based compensation structure.
• Potential earnings of $750,000 to $850,000 once fully operational.
• Approximately 95% of work is OR-based.
• The hospital is advancing from a Level 2 to a Level 1 Trauma designation.
• Established referral network and a diverse mix of reconstructive and oncologic cases.

The successful applicant will be proficient in:

• Craniomaxillofacial trauma and reconstruction.
• Microvascular reconstruction.
• Head & neck/maxillofacial oncology.
• Benign maxillofacial pathology.
• Ablative surgery.

• Initial call expectation of 7 to 10 days per month, with a long-term goal of approximately one week per month (1:4 ratio).
• APPs will handle first call and trauma triage.
• The trauma service primarily functions in a consultative capacity.
