We are seeking a polished, service-driven Floor Manager to join one of New York City's most recognized and highly regarded fine dining restaurants. This is an exceptional opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a high-volume, luxury dining environment and is passionate about delivering impeccable guest experiences.

The ideal candidate will possess strong floor leadership skills, a hands-on management style, and a deep understanding of fine dining service standards. This role is highly visible and requires a leader who can inspire teams, build relationships with discerning guests, and maintain operational excellence during every service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily dining room operations during lunch and dinner service.
• Ensure flawless execution of fine dining service standards and guest hospitality.
• Actively manage the floor, anticipating guest needs and resolving concerns with professionalism and urgency.
• Coach, mentor, and develop front-of-house team members to maintain exceptional service consistency.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate service priorities, reservations, VIP guests, and operational updates.
• Collaborate closely with culinary, beverage, and management teams to ensure seamless service execution.
• Monitor staffing levels, labor productivity, and overall floor efficiency.
• Uphold cleanliness, presentation, and attention to detail throughout all guest-facing areas.
• Assist with scheduling, performance management, and training initiatives.
• Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of management experience in a fine dining, upscale, or luxury restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of fine dining service techniques and guest engagement.
• Experience leading service teams in a fast-paced, high-expectation setting.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Professional presence with a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and effective during high-volume service periods.
• Wine and beverage knowledge is highly desirable.
• Experience working with VIP guests and discerning clientele is preferred.
