Maintenance Technician$26-$30/hour + 10% shift differential3rd10:00pm-6:30am QPS Employment Group is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a company in Madison, WI. This is a direct hire opportunity.Maintenance Technician Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements established by companyPerform maintenance and repairs on all factory machinery and test equipmentConduct preventative maintenance on equipment and facility systemsTroubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systemsReport issues related to quality, equipment, processes, or materials to the Maintenance SupervisorMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaPerform facility repairs, grounds maintenance, and snow removal as neededAssist with janitorial duties and general facility upkeep when requiredSupport preventative maintenance programs and continuous improvement initiativesComplete additional duties as assignedMaintenance Technician Requirements:Ability to read and interpret policy manuals, safety rules, operating instructions, and technical documentationAbility to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics and blueprintsStrong troubleshooting skills across electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic systemsPLC knowledge preferred but not requiredAbility to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructionsStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standardsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentStrong teamwork and communication skillsFlexibility to adapt to changing tasks and prioritiesFrequently stand for extended periodsFrequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 poundsRegularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 poundsOccasionally lift up to 75 poundsRegularly walk and move equipment or materialsSit, bend, twist, and climb ladders or stairsReach overhead or to full extensionOperate tools and equipment requiring upper body strengthVision abilities include close vision and depth perception, peripheral vision, ability to adjust focus at varying distancesAbility to hear speech and warning signals up to 70 dB, with or without assistanceAbility to communicate clearly and effectivelyFrequent exposure to extreme heat, vibration, and moving mechanical parts and hazardsOccasional exposure to wet or humid conditionsModerate noise levels are typicalIND999 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
