Job Description Estimator to provide support and estimates for projects quoted by the sales team. The day-to-day initiative is to assist the sales team with providing quotes for commercial HVAC products. Hands‑on training is provided. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Review construction plans and specifications to obtain job‑specific scope Compile a take‑off list of material to be estimated Provide an estimate of pricing for the equipment needed from our manufacturers Perform selections and obtain pricing using manufacturer software selection tools Obtain external vendor pricing via email communication for manufacturers that do not provide software selection/pricing tools Work together with a Georgia Air Associates outside sales representative to facilitate an accurate and timely quotation in a deadline‑driven industry to ensure repeat business Distribute quotation to mechanical contractors Maintain regular and punctual attendance Pursue training opportunities to expand product knowledge Experience and Requirements Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) Construction estimating or field experience (preferred) Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Time management & organizational skills Windows‑based computer knowledge Proficient math, written and verbal skills Benefits Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan with company match Life Insurance & Health Savings Account (HSA) Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance Critical Illness & Accident Coverage Pet Insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays The Company provides equal employment opportunity in accordance with applicable laws and prohibits discrimination and harassment.
