Diagnostic Radiology Technologist - Regional Float - Evenings

Job Summary Radiologic Technologist – $25,000 sign‑on bonus for eligible applicants and a $6 per hour premium on top of the base pay rate. Responsibilities Ensure correct orders are obtained, patients are properly identified and prepared, and clinical history is corroborated and documented while respecting confidentiality. Utilize appropriate imaging protocols and optimize technical factors while maximizing patient safety and applying ALARA principles. Prepare and/or administer medications through new or existing vascular access sites as prescribed by a licensed practitioner. Evaluate images for proper positioning and acceptable technical quality, verify archival storage and/or transfer of data, and post‑process data when applicable. Educate and monitor students and other health care providers. Assist the licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic and specialized radiologic procedures. Perform diagnostic radiographic and non‑interpretive fluoroscopic procedures as prescribed by a licensed practitioner, including those performed outside the Radiology Department (e.g., operating room, endoscopy, ICU). Position Requirements New graduates must obtain an ARRT‑R registry within 6 months of the date of hire. Applicants hired after March 10, 2024, must complete steps required for advancing to level 2 within 24 months. Education Graduation from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (Required). Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Preferred). Experience Minimum of 1 year of related work experience (Preferred). Certification and Licensure Basic Life Support Certification – Default Issuing Body.
