Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Nocs

Location: Arcata, CA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts weekly - 36 hours/week guaranteed.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for Med/Surg Nocs to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit.
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatment as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient progress and changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active California RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Proof of negative TB screen within 12 months of contract starting date.
