Production Technician I, II and IIIA growing industrial automation company in Sherwood is seeking an experienced Production Technician I, II and III to support the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of advanced electromechanical and automation systems.This is a full-time, temp to hire role. This company is a fast-paced automation company. This position is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys working with cutting-edge technology, solving complex technical challenges, and mentoring team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble and wire electromechanical systems, electrical control panels, cable assemblies, and automation equipment according to engineering drawings and schematics.Perform electrical continuity checks, functional testing, troubleshooting, and system validation to ensure quality and performance standards are met.Support commissioning activities, factory acceptance testing (FAT), equipment installation, and field service efforts as needed.Mentor junior technicians, provide technical guidance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across production operations.Collaborate with engineering teams to improve manufacturability, assembly processes, and product quality.Required Qualifications2+ years of experience assembling, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electromechanical equipment, automation systems, or industrial control panels.Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.Demonstrated experience with IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards and UL 508A panel-building practices.Proficiency using common electrical assembly tools, test equipment, and troubleshooting techniques.High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or related certification preferred.Benefits Offered by Verstela to Temporary EmployeesMedicalDentalVisionShort-term DisabilityTerm Life and AD&DIdentity Theft ProtectionPrescription Plan401(k) Retirement Savings PlanPay: Starts at $22/hr depending on experienceSchedule: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pmLocation: Sherwood, OR – not accessible by public transit
