Role Description The Registered Dental Hygienist is a full-time, on-site role based in Clarksville, TN. This team member will perform comprehensive dental hygiene services, including patient assessments, prophylaxis, periodontal care, and education on oral health best practices. Daily responsibilities include reviewing medical histories, taking and recording periodontal measurements, assisting in diagnosing periodontal conditions, and collaborating with the dentist on individualized treatment plans. The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical documentation, ensuring strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols, and contributing to a welcoming, supportive environment for patients and colleagues. Qualifications Strong clinical skills in Dentistry, Dental Care, and Hygiene, with a focus on evidence-based practices. Proficiency in Dental Prophylaxis procedures and preventive oral healthcare. Knowledge and experience in managing Periodontal Disease, including assessment, treatment, and patient education. Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state of Tennessee (or eligibility to obtain), and current CPR certification. Excellent communication and patient education skills, with the ability to build trust and reduce dental anxiety. Commitment to infection control standards, attention to detail in charting and documentation, and teamwork in a clinical setting.
