Candidates should be comfortable working in changing field conditions, managing multiple priorities, and supporting flexible schedules as business needs require.
Contract Duration: 12-30 months

- Knowledge of underground telephone construction, including manholes, environmental vaults, conduit formations, and substructures.
- Ability to interpret construction work prints, engineering drawings, specifications, and installation plans.
- Experience identifying construction deviations, advising contractors on violations, and recommending corrective actions.
- Knowledge of applicable state and federal OSHA requirements, National Electrical Code (NEC), and relevant safety and regulatory standards.
- Experience monitoring duct rodding and cleaning, and the placement of mule tape and inner duct to support copper and fiber cable installation.
- Working knowledge of geospatial applications such as 3GIS, Google Earth, or comparable industry-standard tools.
- General computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, Adobe, Google Workspace, and related applications.
- Ability to climb ladders, work aloft, enter confined spaces, and lift or move items generally weighing up to 60 pounds.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and unscheduled shifts based on business requirements.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Valid state driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to operate a vehicle when required, subject to applicable requirements.
- Related associate degree or at least two years of relevant work experience.
- Experience overseeing outside contractors and verifying compliance with construction plans, material specifications, restoration requirements, and quality standards.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, documentation, and field coordination skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
