Pediatric Neurologist, AdventHealth for Children

Overview The Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children is looking for a dynamic and energetic general pediatric neurologist to join a fast‑growing multidisciplinary pediatric neuroscience program to help further develop general and subspecialty neuroscience programs. The pediatric neuroscience center has a level IV comprehensive epilepsy center, sleep center, multidisciplinary neurofibromatosis clinic, Tuberous Sclerosis Complex clinic, congenital neurosurgery clinic, and craniofacial clinic, supported by a strong group of neuroradiologists and neuropsychologists. Our pediatric neurology program includes an 8‑bed epilepsy monitoring unit, five dedicated outpatient EEG rooms, ambulatory EEG services, and state‑of‑the‑art diagnostic facilities including a 3T MRI, PET, SPECT and MEG center. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive general neurology service in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Build subspecialty programs such as neuromuscular, neonatal, immunology, stroke, neurocutaneous syndrome, movement disorder, and spasticity. Requirements Board certified or board eligible through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with special qualification in pediatric neurology. Current FL license, or ability to obtain. Strong communication skills with a patient‑first mindset. Practice Description Employment includes second call coverage and competitive compensation.
