Position Summary Orlando Health Children’s Neuroscience Institute | Orlando, Florida Orlando Health Children’s Arnold Palmer Hospital is seeking a nationally respected pediatric neurologist with significant expertise in pediatric epilepsy to serve as Division Chief of Pediatric Neurology within the Orlando Health Children’s Neuroscience Institute. This is an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished clinical leader to guide the continued growth of one of the region’s most comprehensive pediatric neuroscience programs. The Division Chief will establish the strategic direction for pediatric neurology, expand clinical programs, recruit and mentor physicians, advance education and research, and strengthen the successful partnership between pediatric neurology and pediatric neurosurgery. Orlando Health is seeking a visionary and decisive leader who looks five to ten years ahead and is motivated to elevate a high-performing program to an even greater level of regional and national distinction. The successful candidate will also be an exceptional clinician who values direct patient care and recognizes clinical excellence as the foundation of the program. Leadership Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic vision for the Division of Pediatric Neurology. Lead the continued growth and advancement of the pediatric epilepsy program. Recruit, retain, mentor, and develop pediatric neurologists and other clinical team members. Expand clinical programs to meet the needs of a growing regional and statewide referral base. Promote collaboration among pediatric neurology, pediatric neurosurgery, neuropsychology, genetics, rehabilitation, behavioral health, psychiatry, and related specialties. Partner closely with pediatric neurosurgery leadership and the Director of Pediatric Epilepsy Surgery. Support the development of a child neurology residency program and other educational initiatives. Advance clinical trials, investigator-initiated research, scholarly activity, and the institute’s national academic presence. Foster a culture of clinical excellence, accountability, innovation, collegiality, and patient-centered care. Maintain an active clinical practice with a focus on pediatric epilepsy and complex neurological conditions. Work with organizational and philanthropic partners to support innovative clinical and research initiatives. Represent the division throughout Orlando Health and within the broader pediatric neurology community. Qualifications Education: M.D, D.O. Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology Unrestricted FL medical license (or the ability to obtain one) and DEA Significant Clinical Expertise in Pediatric Epilepsy A Record of Progressive Leadership Experience within Pediatric Neurology Experience in Medical Education, Clinical Research, or Scholarly Activity The Vision and Leadership Ability to Advance the Program’s Regional and National Reputation Academic Accomplishments Appropriate for a Faculty Appointment are Preferred.
