Job Title Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room Location Overland Park, Kansas Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a freestanding emergency department setting during night shift hours Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols Document patient assessments, care provided, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record Maintain a safe and efficient care environment consistent with emergency department standards Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Kansas or a compact state license Minimum of 2 years of emergency department nursing experience Current BLS and ACLS certifications Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced emergency care environment Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Preferred Experience / Skills Prior experience in a freestanding emergency department (FSED) setting TNCC or CEN certification Previous travel nursing experience Why Join Us Opportunity to gain diverse clinical experience in a freestanding emergency department on a 13-week travel contract Projected start date of July 2026 allows time to plan your next travel assignment with confidence Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 769734.
