Providence Saint Joseph Hospital Orange is seeking an RN for an ICU position. The shift is from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with three shifts per week for a total of 36 scheduled hours. The contract duration is 13 weeks, starting on August 11, 2026, and ending on November 10, 2026.

Job Description: ICU 3205.601000.27487 ICU RN. Recent ICU experience is required, with high acuity ICU experience highly preferred. The traveler may float up to 100% of shifts and weekends may exceed every other to accommodate unit needs. Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered. Travel pairs will not be considered.

Skills include: Accessing/managing ports, administration of chemotherapy, arterial line management, assist with chest tube insertion/removal, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patient, central line care/management, chronic/acute renal failure, continuous IV sedation, CVA/acute stroke management, external ventricular drain (EVD), GI surgery, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, ICP monitoring, infection prevention, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), interpretation of dysrhythmias, intra-aortic balloon pump, isolation precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, management of dysrhythmias, management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, neuro intensive care unit, phlebotomy, PICC line management, post cardiac surgery (not directly from the OR), post neurosurgery management, pre/post cardiac cath/intervention, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, sheath removal, spinal cord injury, starting and maintaining IVs, suctioning (ETT, NT), surgical intensive care unit, titrate cardiac drips, titrate vasoactive drips, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), traumatic brain injury.
