Sr. Network Engineer

Role: Sr. Network Engineer
Location: Seattle, WA 98134 - Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) / Tuesdays and Thursdays are mandatory, the third day is flexible.
Location: 6 month contract to hire
Required Skills:
-
- Sr. Network Engineer who can handle the tasks with minimal direction.
- Deep Hands-on configuration of FortiGate SD-WAN solutions.
- Must have Hands-on experience with FortiGate Firewall management
- Corporate IT Networking, hands-on L1 and L2 switching/routing, ok if they have Cisco/Aruba/Juniper
- STRONG emphasis on professional skills - see 'soft skills '
Soft skills:

- Take ownership, be resourceful, work the problem independently
- Good communication and report on process instead of waiting to be asked.
- Should not need handholding. Person should take an initiative.

- Going into the firewall and make changes and configure the Routing protocols.
- New implementation of SD-WAN solution - hands-on configuration and installation.
