Social Media Intern

Aprende Tutoring is a bilingual tutoring and mentorship company built for first-generation and Latino families across LA, Orange County, and Ventura County. We were founded by a first-gen college grad and current medical student. We have published bilingual parent guides, a growing tutoring practice, and an Instagram presence that's already reaching over 100,000 people a month. We're looking for someone to help us turn that reach into a real, repeatable brand. What you'll do Plan, create, and schedule social media content (primarily Instagram Reels, plus stories and posts) that speaks authentically to students and their parents Help shape a monthly content calendar tied to the school-year rhythm (back-to-school, testing season, etc.) Set up and manage small paid ad campaigns (primarily Meta/Instagram Ads) on a modest budget, build audiences, launch, monitor spend, and report on what's driving results (training provided if you're newer to paid ads) Capture and edit short-form video content, including occasional in-person filming at tutoring sessions or around LA Write captions and simple copy in English (and Spanish, if you're bilingual) Track what's working, engagement, saves, shares, DMs, and ad-performance, and bring ideas for what to try next Help convert social media attention into an owned audience (email/WhatsApp list growth) #J-18808-Ljbffr
