Quality CoordinatorTownsen Memorial Hospital - West is looking for a full-time Quality Coordinator to join our team! The Quality Coordinator is responsible for supporting and advancing quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient care and safety across the organization. Under the direct supervision of the Quality Manager, this role coordinates quality assurance activities, including data collection and analysis, performance improvement tracking, regulatory reporting, and staff education. The Quality Coordinator ensures compliance with organizational policies, accreditation standards, and state and federal regulations while serving as a key resource in promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement.Essential Functions:Collect, enter, and validate quality and compliance data from multiple departmentsMaintain accurate, organized, and confidential electronic and paper filing systemsPrepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc quality performance reportsReview incident reports, track departmental follow-up, and ensure timely resolutionCoordinate documentation and logistics for audits, surveys, and accreditation readiness activitiesMonitor and track progress of action items related to quality improvement projectsAnalyze data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for performance improvementSupport development and implementation of corrective action plans in underperforming areasProvide staff education and training related to quality standards, reporting requirements, and documentation practicesFormat, maintain, and update quality documents, forms, and tools in alignment with policyParticipate in department meetings, performance improvement committees, and staff development activitiesKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesSolid understanding of healthcare terminology, compliance processes, and quality standardsAbility to analyze, interpret, and present data in support of quality improvement effortsEffective verbal and written communication across departments and with external agenciesStrong interpersonal skills with a commitment to ethical conduct, teamwork, and patient safetyAbility to maintain accurate, confidential records and exercise discretion in handling sensitive informationAbility to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environmentEducation and Experience:Associate's degree in a health-related or relevant fieldTwo (2) years of experience in an acute care or public health settingHealthcare Accreditation Certification Program (HACP-CMS) or must be obtained within one year of hireBLS certified or must obtain certification within 90-days of hireBenefits:3 Medical Plans2 Dental Plans2 Vision PlanEmployee Assistance ProgramShort and Long-Term Disability InsuranceBasic Voluntary Life with AD&D Plan401(K) with a 2-year vestingPTO + Holidays
