Call Center Representative

Supporting South Carolina Medicaid members, the full-time hourly Call Center Representative will respond to inquiries, provide information on eligibility, assist with Medicaid applications, and ensure customer satisfaction while working remotely within a 60-mile radius of Columbia, SC. Key responsibilities Respond to Medicaid member inquiries using a computerized system, following standard scripts and procedures Gather information, assess caller needs, and document calls while resolving inquiries efficiently Act as an advocate for Medicaid members, providing clear information regarding eligibility and application statuses Required qualifications Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED Minimum of 1 year of call center experience in telephone customer service or related fields Ability to pass a pre-employment screening and service skills assessment Computer literacy with the ability to navigate multiple programs and systems Experience with data entry and database documentation preferred
