Fieldhouse is seeking a Coach to join our team at The Park in Berkeley Heights, NJ, someone who brings energy, expertise, and a genuine commitment to elevating each member’s experience. As a Fitness Coach, you’ll lead engaging, results-driven training experiences, provide individualized guidance and accountability, and build meaningful relationships with members across a range of fitness levels and goals.

This role lets you bring your coaching expertise to a premium fitness environment while working alongside a team committed to exceptional service, thoughtful programming, and member success. How You’ll Make an Impact

• Deliver high-energy, technically sound coaching that challenges members while keeping movement quality, safety, and individual goals at the center of every session.
• Lead thoughtfully programmed training experiences that reflect Fieldhouse’s standards for performance, consistency, and member care.
• Adapt exercises, intensity, and progressions to meet members where they are while continuing to move them forward.
• Coach with purpose, providing clear instruction, meaningful feedback, and the accountability members need to make measurable progress.
• Build strong member relationships by understanding individual goals, recognizing progress, and creating an environment people want to return to.
• Maintain a polished, prepared training environment, ensuring equipment, spaces, and session flow are ready to perform at a high level.
• Contribute to the energy of Fieldhouse beyond the workout by supporting member engagement, programming, events, and the broader fitness community.
• Continue developing your craft through current training methodologies, movement science, and industry best practices.

What You’ll Bring

• Nationally recognized fitness certification from an accredited organization such as NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, or an equivalent credential.
• 5+ years of coaching, personal training, or small-group training experience in a fitness, performance, or boutique studio environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of strength training, conditioning, functional movement, mobility, and safe exercise progression.
• Ability to assess individual needs and confidently modify exercises, intensity, and programming for a range of fitness levels and goals.
• Proven ability to coach with energy, presence, and purpose while maintaining technical accuracy and member safety.
• Strong understanding of movement mechanics, exercise technique, and injury-prevention principles.
• Current CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain prior to start.
• Availability to support a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Professional presence, sound judgment, and a genuine commitment to delivering a high-quality member experience.
