Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced ER RN to provide high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment. This 13-week assignment offers the opportunity to work 36 hours per week with required call shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency nursing care to patients presenting with acute conditions.
• Assess patient needs, perform triage, and prioritize care delivery.
• Document clinical findings and interventions accurately in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Respond to and manage call shifts, including 24-hour on-call periods.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and licensing standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license with current state board approval.
• Previous experience as a traveler nurse highly preferred.
• Proficiency in using Meditech 6.0 EMR systems is desirable.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a demanding emergency room setting.
• Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations efficiently.
