Registered Nurse - Med Surg Tele (Travel) in Zanesville, Ohio. Start date: 09/21/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Nights shift, 7:00 pm–7:30 am. Weekly pay: $1,692-$1,717. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to cardiac step-down patients, including heart cath recovery, cardiac drips, and post-op open-heart scenarios.
- Monitor vital signs, telemetry, hemodynamics, and administer IV medications per physician orders; manage cardiac drips as ordered.
- Perform acti vity-appropriate procedures and ensure patient safety during transitions between therapies and units.
- Document care and clinical updates in Epic EMR; coordinate with the multidisciplinary team for care planning and discharge readiness.
- Float to other units as needed to support census fluctuations, while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
- Communicate changes in patient condition promptly to the care team and respond to call days only as required by staffing and census.

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license (RN) and the ability to practice in the applicable state.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of cardiac step-down experience, including heart cath recovery, cardiac drips, and post-op open-heart care.
- Experience with Open-Heart patients and Epic EMR.
- Comfort caring for ventilated patients in rare circumstances and willingness to float to other units as needed.
- Ability to work nights and meet the assignment start date of 09/21/2026; available for the 13-week duration and 36 guaranteed hours per week.
