Seven Healthcare are seeking a highly skilled RN specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing for a travel assignment in Parkersburg, WV. This role involves working within an acute care setting where you will manage critically ill patients, providing high-level care in a dynamic environment. The work schedule includes 12-hour night shifts with weekend rotations as required to meet unit needs.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU

• Provide critical care to patients with conditions such as sepsis, COVID, and renal failure
• Titrate drips according to ordered parameters
• Perform care and removal of Central lines
• Collaborate with the intensivist and hospitalist teams for patient management
• Assist in performing and interpreting monitoring and admitting procedures

Requirements of the RN - ICU

• Active RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• At least 1 year of critical care experience
• Competency with CRRT, IABP, and Ventilators
• Proficiency in using vasoactive medications, sedation, and paralytics
• Experience with post-code/therapeutic hypothermia
