These features let people participate in their favorite communities and discover new ones more efficiently. We work hard to bring novel opportunities to the world of streaming both individually and in collaboration with similar streamers. Our consumer facing features span both web and mobile surfaces, we’re working hard to build fast, reliable, and easy to understand client-side experiences. This position is primarily focused across the entire stack (React and Golang) but will lean initially more toward backend systems, with future efforts moving more client-side.This position is in San Francisco, CA.You Will:Work with product managers, technical leads, and other engineers to design, develop, launch, and operate interactive experiencesInvestigate, instrument and solve performance problemsBuild distributed applications at scaleCollaborate with both your team and related teams - fostering shared understanding of how to solve common problems and deliver solutions Work backwards from customer problems to drive business impactYou Have:1+ Years experience developing software in a professional environmentPrior experience building consumer-facing products at scaleProficient coding skills in modern languages and frameworks such as React, Kotlin, Swift, Objective-C, etc.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsMinimum of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experienceBonus PointsExperience with languages/frameworks we use at Twitch: React, Typescript, GolangExperience with mobile developmentExperience building software and services using AWS technologies such as ECS, DynamoDB, Lambda, SQS, and Step FunctionsFamiliarity with Twitch, gaming, and/or streaming on TwitchPerksMedical, Dental, Vision & Disability Insurance401(k)Maternity & Parental LeaveFlexible PTOAmazon Employee DiscountPursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.Job ID: TW9228The base salary range for this position is listed below.
