About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Treasury to play a pivotal role in the modernization and transformation of the treasury function. The successful candidate will be a strategic finance leader with a strong background in treasury, finance, banking, or corporate finance, and will be responsible for overseeing the organization's treasury operations, cash management, liquidity planning, and banking relationships. This role demands a leader who can drive initiatives in cash reconciliation, process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency, while also strengthening cross-functional alignment. The VP of Treasury will be a key advisor to the SVP, Head of Treasury, and will lead the development of a more disciplined treasury operating model with enhanced transparency, governance, and analytical capabilities. Applicants for the VP, Treasury position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 12-15 years' of relevant experience. A strong understanding of cash management, liquidity planning, and treasury controls is essential, as is experience in process improvement and operational transformation. The ideal candidate will have a background in complex financial services, mortgage banking, or highly regulated environments, and experience with treasury management systems, reporting tools, and financial process automation solutions. A proactive approach to leveraging AI, automation, and data analytics to improve treasury operations is preferred. The role also requires a leader with a proven track record in team management, mentoring, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Professional certifications such as an MBA, CTP, CPA, or other relevant treasury/finance certification are a plus.
