Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System.

Additional Details:

RNs who obtained their RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold a MO, IL, or Compact license require an extended licensing and compliance timeframe.

No medical marijuana cards accepted.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Step-down or PCU experience, stroke care/Neuro experience, and experience caring for post-cardiac cath patients.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Community hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Cares for CHF, CVA, COPD, stroke, post-thrombectomy after 24 hours, and post-cath patients. Also cares for total joint replacement, neuro spine, general surgery, wounds, diabetic, medical COVID, and oral surgery patients.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend required. Orientation may occur outside typical contract hours; shift times and schedule during orientation may vary from the normal contract shift.

Floating Requirements: Required to float between Progress West and St. Peters as needed. Float required to MS and ICU; RN will be assigned non-ICU level/lower acuity patients that align with skill level.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
